COMMON QUESTIONS

New to Tai Chi?

Everything you need to know before your first class.

Absolutely not! Our classes are designed for complete beginners. We start every session with the basics and our instructor will guide you through each movement step by step. Most of our members had zero experience when they joined.

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows free movement — think joggers and a t-shirt. Flat-soled shoes or clean trainers work perfectly. We practise outdoors in Wandle Park, so dress for the weather!

Yes, there is free street parking on Cornwall Road near Wandle Park. The park is also a short walk from Waddon station (10 min) and several bus routes. We recommend allowing 10 minutes to find a spot on busy mornings.

Yes! Your very first session is 100% free with no strings attached. No card details required. Just fill in the form on this page, show up at the park, and try it out. If you love it, you can choose a plan that suits you.

Light rain rarely stops us — Tai Chi in nature is part of the experience! However, in heavy rain or storms we will cancel and notify you via WhatsApp or email. Check the announcement banner at the top of this site for weather updates.
